Jenny Galindo is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health and holds a certification in aesthetics and dermatology. She is a native Spanish speaker with more than 10 years of expertise in the cosmetical medical field. Jenny is known for providing excellent aesthetic results in a gentle, minimally invasive, and safe manner.
Before founding Dajenel Medical Aesthetics & Wellness, Jenny worked in different settings including dermatology practices, well-known medical spas, and cosmetic surgical centers. Jenny believes in the power of education and actively stays updated with the latest advancements in aesthetics and women’s health to provide the highest standard of care for her patients.
As an aesthetic nurse, Jenny has extensive experience administering injectables including neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport), dermal fillers, biostimulators, collagen induction therapy (microneedling), platelet-rich plasma (PRP), PDO threads, and treating different skin conditions with lasers and radiofrequency technology.
In her spare time, Jenny enjoys traveling with her family and practicing yoga and meditation.
Jonathan M. Sykes, MD is a world-renowned double-board-certified plastic surgeon, professor emeritus, and former director of Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of California, Davis Medical Center.
Dr. Sykes has served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for 10 years, having been Western Region Vice President and VP of Education and most recently appointed President of the AAFPRS in 2010.
He has done over 20,000 surgical procedures and is highly experienced in rhinoplasty and aging-related surgeries such as facelift, browlift, and eyelid lift procedures. He has lectured many people on the anatomy and injection technique for neuromodulators and is an instructor for many filling agents.
Dr. Sykes is passionate about children and enjoys surgery for cleft deformities and craniofacial surgery. Over 25 humanitarian missions have been carried out by him to many countries, including the Philippines, El Salvador, Honduras, Russia, Bolivia, Brazil, and China. He has been awarded the prestigious William Wright teaching award by the AAFPRS and the 1887 award for community service and humanitarian missions by this organization.
